We have all heard the old saying; “it is better to be silent and let people think you are ignorant, than to open you mouth and prove it beyond a shadow of doubt”.

Now that the DNN event-of-the-year is over, and people are having a chance to catch up with their rest, you are about to start seeing a lot of technical DotNetNuke blog postings. I want to start the ”blog-inundation” with what I think is one of the most important take-aways from the conference.

Why is this important?

If you think of DotNetNuke 6.0 as a “visual” upgrade, you will be headed in the right direction.  I have been told that there will be a New Skin (yet to be released).  The secret of who is doing the skin is slowly leaking out and people are really getting excited about seeing it. 

Tuesday night Will Strohl was the presenter at ODUG (Orlando DotNetNuke User Group) and showed us the latest build of DotNetNuke 6.0.  If you were not able to be there, you should plan on testing the BETA as soon as it is released.  The Current CTP  (CTP3) has a lot of the changes in it, but they really start to shine in the soon-to-be-released BETA. 

The upcoming DotNetnuke 6.0 release is being touted as one of the most momentous releases ever.  With the history of DNN, that’s saying a lot!
